The community collective agreement applies to federal employees in the Economic and Social Services (EC) group. We are negotiating the agreement with the Board of Directors of Canada, which is covered by the Federal Public Sector Relations Act. You can see a full list of improvements to the ratification kit that we will prepare before the ratification vote, but until it is published on the negotiating side of the Board, here you will find a summary of what we have negotiated: if a worker opts for the extended parental leave option under the EI and starts their leave before the signing of the collective agreement, they receive an additional allowance equal to 93% of their weekly rate of pay for all weeks during which they are on parental leave and receive a maximum amount of 37 weeks.
