Santa, where is the OM3500A you were going to send me for Christmas?
Have you seen it? It seem to have gotten lost on the way from Santa Claus
The planned ARRL SSB effort by SM3WMU and SM3RAB got cancelled this weekend which I guess was for the best. The propagation’s were awful, haven’t heard the bands so bad for a while. Now I am not sure what the next effort will be. We need to solve some amplifier issues before we can do a serious effort and I haven’t gotten much done lately so we will see if we can do WPX SSB or not. If not I guess the next goal is to have the station up and running again before WPX CW.
Man it would be a lot easier if I was rich and not needing to build most stuff 🙂
Mike, it seems you’re going through a dip in the motivation?
Anyone can spend a lot of money and buy off the shelf stuff but not everyone can design and build.

Thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, I’ve been dipping a bit in motivation lately but I usually do at this point of the year so I expect it to come back to its fullest when the spring arrives.
And yes, its fun to build stuff but sometimes it feels like some things should just be bought so time can be spent on more important things 🙂
